Margie Knows CatsThis page says what information margieknowscats.com collects and what becomes of it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can leave whenever you like.
margieknowscats.com is the website of Margie Knows Cats, which is published by AshYT. "Margie Hollis" is the author persona of the books and videos. You can write to us at margie@margieknowscats.com.
To send you the free chapter, the site asks for your email address. It is kept by our email service, Brevo, and used to send you the chapter and an occasional note about living with cats or about the books. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list for good.
Purchases are handled by Stripe and its payment service Link, which sell the books on our behalf as the reseller: they take the payment, collect any sales tax or VAT, and send your receipt. Your card or wallet details go to Stripe and never to us. Stripe passes us your name, your email address and what you bought, so that we can deliver your books and answer your questions, and our email service, Brevo, sends you the link to your downloads. Stripe's and Link's own privacy policies describe how they handle your information.
This site uses no advertising cookies and no tracking scripts. It keeps one small note in your browser for the length of your visit, so that a pop-up is not shown to you twice. The fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's standard connection details when a page loads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary technical logs to keep the site running and safe.
We never sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the services named above, and only to run the site, the store and the emails.
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can also write to us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and we will do it promptly.
This site and our books are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
